During his training he developed his expertise in complex gynaecological pelvic surgery and advanced laparoscopic procedures, including robotic surgery.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Kuswanto is a Proctor for the da Vinci Robotic System in Australia where he guides and mentors fellow gynaecologists in adopting this innovative technique into their clinical practices. He is also a trainer for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, as well as a Tutor and Examiner at the University of Melbourne and Monash University.
