Dr Karthikesh Omkaram is a Specialist in Urology, Andrology and Endourology based in Dubai at Aster Clinic Deira with over 10 years of experience. He obtained his medical degree at Sri Venkateshwara Medical College, India in 2012 and received his Diplomate of National Board qualification in General Surgery in 2016 following his Post Graduate training. He completed the first part of his Membership exams with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the UK in 2020 and is currently awaiting his results for the second half of exams. Following his Super specialty residency training in Urology at Narayana Medical College & Hospital in India, Dr Karthikesh was awarded his Master of Surgery[Mch] degree in Urology in 2021.
Having worked in several large hospitals across India, Dr Karthikesh is well versed in the use of surgical techniques to treat and manage all types of urological conditions. He has special interests and expertise in the following areas:
Andrology and men's health
Endourology
Renal (kidney) transplantation
Uro-Oncology
Genitourinary lithiasis
Laparoscopic surgeries in Urology
Urethroplasty
Open urological surgery
Vascular surgery
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr Karthikesh has published a number of papers in urology journals and has been awarded prizes for his work in India.
