Dr Julienne Wickham is a dedicated medical professional with a passion for women's health. Their journey began in the Queensland mining town of Mt Isa. Dr Wickham later moved to Brisbane to further their education. Both Dr Wickham and their husband find joy in regional community life, which led them to relocate to Bundaberg in 2010. Over the next five years, they divided their time between Bundaberg and Brisbane while Dr Wickham finished specialist medical training in obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Wickham, their husband, and their two children have now settled in Bundaberg.
During their training, Dr Wickham sought further experience in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, also known as ���keyhole��� surgery. Dr Wickham's practice offers patients the option of laparoscopic hysterectomies and endometriosis excisions, in addition to more common surgical procedures.
Dr Wickham strongly believes in the importance of continuity of care. Through building long-term relationships with patients, they have gained invaluable insight and knowledge. Dr Wickham understands that some topics can be difficult to discuss, and is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment where patients feel able to discuss their concerns openly. For Dr Wickham, care is about more than just physical outcomes; it's about ensuring patients feel healthy, happy, and heard.
