Dr. Joachim Thiel ist Facharzt für Orthopädie, Chirurgie und Unfallchirurgie. Weitere Arbeitsstätten von Dr. Thiel sind die Chirurgische Klinik Dr. Rinecker, das Bundeswehrkrankenhaus Ulm (Orthopädie/Unfallchirurgie), die TU München Rechts der Isar und das Orthopädiezentrum München City.
Als Facharzt für Orthopädie/Unfallchirurgie und Chirurgie hat sich Dr. Thiel operativ auf Endoprothetik von Schulter, Hüfte und Knie spezialisiert. Bei traumatischen und degenerativen Schäden liegt sein Focus auf einer differenzierten, gelenkerhaltenden Therapie. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Physiotherapeuten steht dabei die Ausschöpfung von konservativen Maßnahmen im Vordergrund, um Operationen möglichst zu vermeiden/aufzuschieben.
