About
Mr Bardavio qualified in medicine at the University of Barcelona, Spain in 1992. After qualifying, he moved to the UK and completed seven years of specialist training in Ophthalmology and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, in 1998.
He moved back to Barcelona in 1999 and was awarded his Certificate of Specialist Training in Ophthalmology by the Spanish Ministry of Education in the same year. During his time in Barcelona, he completed a Master's degree in Clinical Sciences Research at the University of Barcelona in 2009, followed by another Master's degree in Healthcare Management at the International University of Catalonia in 2012. In 2016 he completed a Master's degree in Economics at the OMMA Centre for Higher Studies in Spain. He moved back to the UK in 2016 and in 2020, Mr Bardavio completed a Global MBA at Oxford Brookes University.
