He has a strong interest in research of gynaecological malignancies and is an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London (UCL) . He holds a PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), and an MPhil from Newcastle University (UK). He is an author and co-author in over 30 papers published in international peer-review journals and has presented in multiple national and international congresses.
