About Dr Gemma Wheeler
Dr. Gemma Wheeler is based at At Home Dental. She received her BDS from the University of Cardiff in 2015 before taking a cadetship in her final year and joining the British Army. In 2019, she left the service and says she has since gained vast experience in both NHS and private hospitals, as well as volunteering in Nepal. She is passionate about delivering holistic dental care to her patients and enjoys visiting them to receive their dental treatment at home. In addition to her clinical work, she writes for the website Electric Teeth. Dr. Wheeler moved to Devon in 2021. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time exploring the local area and traveling to new places in her campervan. She often takes her dog swimming in open water, walking, and visiting historic sites.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
