Ihr Studium der Medizin absolvierte sie an der Medizinischen Universität Wien. Nach ihrer Promotion zum Dr. med. univ. im Jahr 1975 folgte die Facharztausbildung für Haut- und Geschlechtskrankheiten im Allgemeinen Krankenhaus (AKH) Wien. OMR Dr. Grabner ist Mitglied in mehreren renommierten Fachgesellschaften, darunter die Österreichische Dermatologische Gesellschaft (ÖDGV) und die Deutsche Dermatologische Gesellschaft (DDG).
