Dr. med. Reininghaus absolvierte ihr Studium der Humanmedizin an der Universität Wien und promovierte im Jahr 1995. Ihre Facharztausbildung zur Frauenärztin und Geburtshelferin schloss sie im Jahr 2002 ab. Sie ist Mitglied der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe sowie der Ärztekammer für Wien.
