Ms Fiona Stout
About
Fiona’s practice is grounded in trauma-informed approaches, with an emphasis on nervous system regulation, breathwork, movement awareness and sensory processing. She works with individuals from a range of backgrounds and has experience supporting neurodivergent people through movement and body-based therapeutic techniques.
In addition to her yoga and therapeutic work, Fiona has led workshops and group sessions exploring movement, breath and vocalisation for neurodivergent participants. As an autistic practitioner herself, she has developed classes specifically designed for neurodivergent bodies, particularly for individuals experiencing sensory processing challenges. Drawing on Fitzmaurice Voicework methods, these sessions explore the relationship between tremor-based movement, yoga asana, breath and voice in a structured and supportive environment.
Her therapeutic approach also incorporates principles of somatic awareness and gentle movement practices aimed at improving comfort, mobility and nervous system regulation. Fiona’s work focuses on creating accessible, body-aware spaces that support individual pacing, sensory awareness and embodied movement experiences.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
