Alongside his medical qualifications, he holds Masters of Science degrees in Population Health and Medical Leadership. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) in 2015.
Having practiced as a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist in Dudley, West Midlands, from 2007 to 2019, Dr Shaikh now calls the Hull and East Yorkshire region home, bringing his wealth of experience to benefit the local community.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr Shaikh is deeply committed to addressing loneliness, actively involved in the start-up 'MyBabble'. He also holds certification as an Executive Coach and Mentor at ILM-7 level.
