Dr Vinay Kumar Bhatia was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells Hospitals NHS Trust in 2009. Dr Bhatia is a fully trained general cardiologist with expertise in the field of cardiac imaging, specifically transthoracic, transoesophageal echocardiographic techniques and stress echocardiography (both with exercise and with pharmacological stress agents), and also diagnostic coronary angiography. He is an Honorary Consultant at Kings College, London, where he performs stress echocardiography studies and works closely with the cardiology/cardiothoracic team. Dr Bhatia is accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography for which he serves as a training supervisor and examiner.
