Dr Moumita Chattopadhyay is an eminent Consultant dermatologist and Clinical Governance Lead, with her NHS base at Birmingham Skin and Regional Laser Centre. She has a high degree of expertise in Skin surgery and Cosmetic dermatology, specialising in injectables and skin rejuvenation. She provides treatments to a very high standard tailored to individual patient needs, carefully listening to patient concerns and addressing them with compassion and empathy.
Dr Chattopadhyay qualified in medicine and obtained her postgraduate Diploma in dermatology from India, before undergoing further specialist dermatology training in London. She then completed her specialty training programme in dermatology from Cambridge University Hospitals and obtained MRCP (Dermatology). She has been honoured with the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of London (FRCP).
Dr Chattopadhyay has won several prizes, scholarships and distinctions throughout her career. She has written a number of peer-reviewed papers, co-written chapters in books and widely presented nationally and internationally. She is an accredited Educational Supervisor for dermatology trainees and takes a keen interest in Medical Education.
