I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience, including 13 years as a registered psychologist, supporting adults (21 years and over)  with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. I am professionally trained, registered, and practice in line with ethical and clinical guidelines.

My work combines clinical expertise with an understanding of how complex life experiences shape wellbeing. I value warmth, honesty, and curiosity in the therapeutic relationship, and aim to offer therapy that is respectful, thoughtful, and effective. I have particular experience helping people navigate personal and professional stress, including burnout, feelings of loss, or being “stuck,” and I have a special interest in anxiety-related difficulties.

Therapy with me is collaborative, reflective, and evidence-based. We work at a pace that feels right for you, addressing both current challenges and the wider context of your life. While I will offer support and reassurance, I will also encourage meaningful change through deeper reflection when it supports progress toward the therapeutic goals you wish to achieve.

We regularly review progress and tailor therapy to ensure it meets your needs. Therapy is not about “fixing” you; it is about understanding what you carry, recognising patterns that no longer serve you, and creating space for change.

What to Expect

Initial Assessment (2 sessions)

We begin with an assessment to understand your current concerns, background, and goals for therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and see whether working together feels right.

Ongoing Therapy

Sessions are usually weekly and tailored to your needs, drawing on evidence-based approaches.

Review and Progress

We regularly review progress and adapt the focus of therapy as needed, ensuring the work remains effective and relevant.

Ending Therapy

Therapy ends when you feel you have achieved your goals or have the tools to manage independently. Endings are planned and discussed in advance, with the option of occasional review sessions if helpful.

The length of therapy varies, typically between 8 and 24 sessions, depending on your goals, preferences, and the nature of the difficulties. More complex presentations may require longer-term work, which we would discuss and agree collaboratively, in line with NICE guidelines.
