About
Dr Todd qualified as a doctor at Edinburgh University in 1991, and went on to undertake his training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and surrounding areas. He then undertook further specialist cardiology training at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester and undertook his doctorate research at the Manchester Royal Infirmary to gain his Medical Doctorate in Atrial Fibrillation, in 2003. He also undertook a specialist fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians in Ontario, Canada. Upon completion of this fellowship, he was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital in 2003. In addition to his qualifications, he is also well accomplished and respected in the research community, with over 80 peer reviewed publications.
