About Dr Aditya Mandal
Dr Aditya K Mandal has been a substansive NHS full time Consultant Gastroenterologist for since 2003. After graduating from Calcutta Medical College, he was trained at the Postgraduate Institue at Chandigarh and then at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He then moved to the UK and has completed Specialist training in Gastroenterology. Mandal's clinical interests include IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), indigestion, Investigation of iron deficiency anaemia, Investigation of bowel symptoms (diarrhoea, constipation and bleeding from rectum), investigation and anagement of abnormal liver function test, colon cancer screening. He has special interest in upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures. Dr Mandal is an accredited Bowel cancer screening colonoscopist since 2011. Dr Mandal's mission is to deliver safe, effeient and patient-centric care to all his patients. Endoscopic procedures performed by Dr. Mandal Gastroscopy (upper gastrointestinal endoscopy) Flexible sigmpoidoscopy (camera examination of the lower part of the bowel) Colonoscopy and/or removal of polyp (camera examination of bowel) Bowel cancer screening colonoscopy.
