About Dr Di Sha
Dr Disha is a Chinese Medicine practitioner at Acumedic with over 20 years' experience in clinical practice. She is experienced in helping patients overcome emotional conditions which can lead to physical symptoms, and she helps them to break this repeating cycle. This includes mental symptoms such as stress which can cause issues with digestion or physical pain. Dr Disha's specialist areas include women's health (gynaecology), dermatology, autoimmune conditions, weight management, anti-smoking, fertility, and allergies. Her treatments include Chinese herbal treatments, acupuncture, and cupping therapy. Dr Disha has a kind and caring manner which enables her to listen compassionately to her patients and make them feel at ease. She provides tailored medicine specific to each patient and their individual needs, that can be combined with traditional Western medicines. Dr Disha first worked as a general practitioner at the Xinmin People's TCM Hospital before moving to the UK in 2005. Since then, Dr Disha has practised acupuncture and Chinese medicine at a number of clinics in London, Yorkshire, and Northern Ireland. She has also spent time training other Chinese Medicine doctors in the work culture of the UK and how to manage the cultural barriers that may arise.
