About Mr David John Allen
Mr David Allen is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over two decades of experience specialising in hip and knee replacements. He has done over 4000 hip and knee replacements including several hundred using the Mako robot. He sees private patients at the Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital. After gaining his primary medical qualifications and an MSc with Distinction in Biomedical Engineering, Mr Allen completed his higher surgical training with the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He did an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship in Ottawa, Canada. His NHS practise is at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital. He is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons and a reviewer for the Bone & Joint Journal.
