Dr. Brian Sreenan is a highly experienced Consultant Psychologist based in London, specialising in the treatment of Eating Disorders. With years of practice in both the NHS and private practice, he has helped individuals from diverse backgrounds navigate their mental health challenges using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Dr. Sreenan currently serves as the Consultant Psychological Lead for Disordered Eating at East London NHS Foundation Trust and is also the Clinical Lead for the London Adult Eating Disorder Programme under NHS England.

Dr. Sreenan is trained at a doctorate level as a Practitioner Psychologist and has completed postgraduate training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN). Additionally, he is skilled in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). He is a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), professionally registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), and is a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Dr. Sreenan also holds a Masters in Mental Health Studies from IoPP and a Postgraduate Qualification in Healthcare Leadership (Darzi Fellowship).

Dr. Sreenan’s approach to therapy is centered on creating a safe, secure, and trusting relationship with each client. His therapy focuses on understanding the difficulties faced by individuals in the context of their unique life circumstances, strengths, and experiences. He uses a combination of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, CFT, EMDR, and Systemic Therapy, to tailor the treatment to each individual's needs. His goal is to empower clients to navigate life's ups and downs with the skills and techniques they learn in therapy, ensuring lasting change and personal growth.
