Anschließend schloss sie ihre Ausbildung zur Allgemeinmedizinerin im Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Schwestern in Linz ab. Den ersten Teil der Ausbildung zur Fachärztin für Plastische, Ästhetische und Rekonstruktive Chirurgie absolvierte Dr. Barbara Iris Greibl in Salzburg an der EMCO Privatklinik. Dort wurde sie unter anderem von dem renommierten Fachspezialisten und Facharzt Dr. Walther Jungwirth ausgebildet. Den weiteren Teil ihrer Ausbildung schloss sie im Allgemeinen Krankenhaus Wien, an der weltweit hoch angesehenen klinischen Abteilung für Plastische und Rekonstruktive Chirurgie ab. Im AKH absolvierte sie ihre Ausbildung unter Dr. Manfred Frey. Anschließend kehrte sie zum Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Schwestern zurück, wo sie ihre Ausbildung in der Abteilung mit dem Spezialgebiet Wundmanagement weiterführte. Des Weiteren wurde Dr. Barbara Iris Greibl im St. Josef Krankenhaus Wien unter dem bekannten Prof. Dr. Boris Todoroff fortgebildet. Darüber hinaus schloss sie diverse Hospitationen an nationalen und internationalen Klinken im Bereich der Plastische, Ästhetische und Rekonstruktive Chirurgie ab. Neben ihrer Ausbildung absolvierte und belegte Dr. Barbara Iris Greibl zudem eine Vielzahl an Zertifikaten und Weiterbildungen, wie dem Wundmanagementkurs MedAk Linz, dem Mikrochirurgiekurse im MAZ-Linz und am Unfallkrankenhaus Meidling sowie das Fortbildungsdiplom der Ärztekammer Österreich. Zudem absolvierte sie in Bad Hofgastein ihre Notarztausbildung, welche sie alle zwei Jahre auffrischt und einen Laserschutzkurs.
2016 gründete Dr. Barbara Iris Greibl ihre eigene Wahlarztordination im Gesundheitszentrum am Hamerlingpark im achten Wiener Gemeindebezirk. Alle ihre Behandlungen werden unter dem Grundsatz: „Mit wenig viel erreichen!" durchgeführt, um die individuelle Schönheit und Natürlichkeit ihrer Patient*innen über die Behandlung hinaus zu bewahren. Dr. Greib bietet in ihrer Ordination ein umfangreiches Leistungsspektrum an, welches in die Bereiche Gesicht, Brust, Körper und Handchirurgie unterteilt ist. Im Gesicht bietet sie beispielsweise Behandlungen mit Fillern oder Botox sowie Behandlungen von Narben, Migräne, Pigmentstörungen und diverse Liftings an. Auch in den weiteren Bereichen bietet Dr. Barbara Iris Greibl eine große Auswahl an, um die Behandlung ihrer Patienten immer individuell anpassen zu können. Des Weiteren bietet sie im Bereich des Körpers ein spezielles Mami Makeover an, welches Schwangerschaftstreifen vorbeugen und die Brust und Figur nach einer Schwangerschaft wieder in Form bringt.
