About
Mr Goel began his career in orthopaedics in 1992 and has since earned an MS degree in orthopaedics from MD University in Rohtak, India. He completed his FRCS in 1999 at the University of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Mr Goel is a widely recognised expert in his field and has led workshops across Asia and the Far East teaching total and partial knee replacement, arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction. He has also lectured at the American Academy and in Europe.
In 2004, Mr Goel was awarded the MCh(Orth) from the University of Liverpool. He completed his higher surgical training at Mersey Deanery, where he gained his FRCS(Orth) in 2006 and his CCT in 2008. He also completed a fellowship in Knee surgery (replacement, arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction) at Mount Vernon and Hillingdon Hospital, London in 2011. After practising in a busy private hospital in New Delhi, Mr Goel returned to the UK in 2016 and took up a position as a Consultant at Bangor Hospital.
