About
Dr Ritchie assesses and manages common and complex respiratory presentations such as chronic and acute cough, wheeze, sputum production, haemoptysis, and unexplained breathlessness. He also delivers structured investigation for suspected lung cancer, including assessment of patients with risk factors such as smoking history or symptoms including weight loss. His clinical practice covers conditions including asthma, COPD (chronic bronchitis and emphysema), sleep apnoea, pulmonary embolism, pneumothorax, and sarcoidosis.
He graduated from University of Sheffield Medical School in 2009 and completed specialist medical training in London at leading centres including St Mary’s Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, Harefield Hospital, and Royal Brompton Hospital. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and maintains an active research portfolio at Imperial College London.
Dr Ritchie’s practice is grounded in thorough clinical assessment, evidence-based investigation, and coordinated care to support accurate diagnosis and effective management of respiratory disease.
