Mr Amitabh Thacoor is a board-certified Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon appointed at St George's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with a special interest in all aspects of the diagnosis and advanced surgical management of skin cancer, including melanoma.

Mr Thacoor has a keen interest in teaching and research, having published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals and authored several book chapters. He was awarded the prestigious Martin Kelly Prize from the Royal Society of Medicine in 2017 for work on cosmetic surgery tourism and targeted muscle reinnervation.
