About Dr Amanda Day
Dr Amanda Day is a Paediatrician and Paediatric Allergist at Offspring Health, Monash Children's Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital. She completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2002 followed by her specialist paediatric training at the Royal Children's Hospital. She later completed her Master's degree in Allergy at Imperial College London, UK and worked as a Paediatric Allergy Fellow at Addenbrooke's Hospital (University of Cambridge). She became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2017. Dr Day has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases in children, including: allergic rhinitis (hay fever), urticaria, asthma, eczema, angioedema, anaphylaxis and food allergies. She offers skin prick testing for inhalant and food allergies. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Day is also a member of the Australian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology where she consults for their anaphylaxis committee. She also holds professional memberships with the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
