Dr Amal Awami is a Consultant Ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients. She is dedicated to managing a wide range of general eye conditions, utilising her extensive expertise to support patients' ocular health.
Dr Awami has a particular focus on cataract surgery and is skilled in a variety of eye surgeries, including chalazion removal and pterygia excision. Her areas of clinical interest also include the management of conditions affecting the cornea, glaucoma, retina, and oculoplastic care.
She is a Canadian board-certified Ophthalmologist. Dr Awami completed her Ophthalmology Residency Programme at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. In 2004, she became board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
