About Dr Alison McIntosh
Dr. Alison McIntosh undertook her training in dentistry from Dundee University in 1998, giving her over 20 years of wide-ranging experience. She is currently practicing at Haymarket dental where she is a valuable member of the team. She enjoys working with all ages, from the very young on their first visit to the busy executive and she works hard to ensure that patients are at ease and relaxed during their treatment. Dr. McIntosh is known for her keen eye to detail as well as being both sympathetic and empathetic to patients, no matter the simplicity or complexity of treatments. Her broad scope of practice and skill in dentistry means she is able to provide advice on everything from cosmetic dentistry, crowns and veneers to the effects of gum disease and instruction on preventing oral disease. Alison is a consummate professional who continues to maintain her professional portfolio, always keeping up with the latest dental knowledge and research As a working mum, living loacally, she divides her spare time between school runs, family and friends.
