Alaa's research interests include 3D craniofacial reconstruction and bone regeneration, resulting in the completion of both his Masters and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) theses in collaboration with the Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering Division at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. 
Passionate about education, Alaa serves as a Visiting Lecturer and Adjunct Professor at various universities in Germany, Italy, and the UK. He also acts as an expert clinical scientist consultant and Key Opinion Leader for dental and medical companies across Germany, the UK, and the USA. Additionally, he contributes to the medical literature by regularly publishing and reviewing articles for multiple high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
