Mr Aditya Prinja is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Shoulder & Elbow and Hand & Wrist Surgery. His NHS practice is based at the Whittington Hospital and University College London Hospitals.

Mr Prinja read medicine at Jesus College, University of Cambridge. Following this, he completed his clinical training at University College London and his higher surgical training on the Middlesex and University College London Orthopaedic Rotation. After completing his training, he was awarded his subspecialty fellowship at the world renowned Wrightington Upper Limb Unit. He also completed the British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma & Arthroscopy Travelling Fellowship and trained with world experts in the United States and Canada.

He has expertise in a range of surgical techniques for the treatment of these conditions. He is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for patients with shoulder, elbow, hand & wrist problems. He uses the most up to date evidence base and advanced techniques, working alongside a dedicated team of specialists to deliver a world class, personalised care.

Alongside his work in clinical practice, Mr Prinja is also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at University College London. He is actively involved in the supervision and training of junior surgeons and regularly publishes research in his area of expertise in peer-reviewed journals as well as presenting work nationally and internationally.
