Straightforward Nutrition offers one-on-one nutrition counselling, specifically designed to support individuals struggling with binge eating, emotional eating, restrictive eating, and body image concerns. The service is available both in-person at their Claremorris location in Co. Mayo, and online, providing flexibility based on individual needs.
The clinic, run by Linn Thorstensson, a qualified Nutritional Therapist and Body Image Coach, is dedicated to helping clients break free from cycles of dieting, restrictive eating, and binge or emotional eating. Over the past decade, Linn has assisted hundreds of clients in overcoming food and weight obsessions, helping them realise that freedom from these struggles is possible, something many didn't think they could achieve.
Linn understands the challenges of battling body size and shape and how it often leads to a loss of control over eating habits. She believes that, as we stop fighting our bodies, we can regain control and move towards peace and healing. She offers hope to those who feel trapped by their relationship with food and body image, reminding them that recovery takes time, but it is always worth the effort.
