Within the inpatient programme clients will spend six hours per day in various structured group activities that use treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). There are also a range of other activities on offer to improve wellness.
The team of mental health professionals at Cabrini Elsternwick focuses on the comfort and peace of mind of clients during their stay. The service offers inpatient psychosocial treatment programs and individualized treatment methods tailored to each woman's needs.
