His research contributed to the change in clinical practice of diagnosis of miscarriage. He is committed to education and training serving as Honorary Senior Lecturer at University of Birmingham. He serves as lead for corporate governance for the British Fertility Society and a trustee for SEED (Sperm, Egg and Embryo Donation) Trust.
