Dr Walid Al Hajj Obeid is a European Board-Certified Specialist Urologist. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from the American University of Beirut, he completed his medical training at Balamand University in Lebanon. His residency in urology at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center in Beirut laid the foundation for a distinguished career.
Dr Al Hajj Obeid pursued advanced fellowships in Uro-Oncology at the Jules Bordet Institute in Brussels and in Robotic Surgery and Functional Urology at Erasmus Hospital, also in Brussels. This European training enriched his skills in urological care and surgical techniques. He then served as an assistant professor at St George University Hospital, where he combined his clinical duties with mentoring students and residents.
Currently practising at Emirates Specialty Hospital in Dubai, Dr Al Hajj Obeid specialises in conditions such as prostate disorders, male infertility, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and bladder and testicular diseases. He is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care, drawing on his extensive training and experience.
In addition to his clinical practice, he has contributed to several peer-reviewed journals and is an active member of the European Association of Urology, Belgian Urology Society, and Lebanese Order of Physicians.
