About Dr Tomasz Lukaszewski
Dr Tomasz Lukaszewski, known to many of his patients as Dr Tom, is a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine with over 15 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology across both NHS and private practice. He specialises in complex IVF, the management of endometriosis-related infertility, and IVF with pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT-A). He has trained and worked at leading UK institutions including IVI Lodnon, the Royal London Hospital and University College London Hospital, where he completed a fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Minimal Access Surgery. During his time at the Royal London Hospital, he was closely involved in the Endometriosis Centre and Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic, developing a specialist interest in the impact of endometriosis and adenomyosis on fertility outcomes. Dr Lukaszewski focuses on patients with more complex fertility histories, including those with previous IVF treatment, reduced ovarian reserve, or co-existing gynaecological conditions. He has particular experience in designing individualised IVF strategies and advising on the appropriate and evidence-based use of PGT-A. He provides a full range of fertility treatments, including IVF and fertility preservation through egg, sperm, and embryo freezing. He also supports a diverse patient population, including same-sex couples, offering ROPA (shared motherhood), as well as individuals requiring donor gametes or embryos. His clinical approach is centred on careful assessment and personalised treatment planning, with an emphasis on clear and realistic counselling. He is known for managing complex cases in a structured and pragmatic way, avoiding unnecessary interventions while optimising outcomes. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Lukaszewski holds a PhD in Fetal Medicine and remains actively involved in academic and teaching activities. He has presented at national and international conferences, including those organised by the British Fertility Society and European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. He has also contributed to surgical training through the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
