About Tina Foley
Tina Foley is a psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience working with clients internationally, both in-person and online. She has provided support across NHS services, charitable organisations, and private practice settings, including work with vulnerable populations in frontline mental health care. Her original training was in psychodynamic psychotherapy, including a Diploma in psychoanalytic theory, followed by a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, which broadened her understanding of multiple therapeutic approaches. She integrates a range of modalities into her work, including attachment-based therapy, CBT, transpersonal therapy, and existential psychotherapy. Tina is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she uses to help clients process trauma and distressing memories. In addition, she has trained as a transformational inner child practitioner, supporting clients in reconnecting with earlier life experiences and emotional patterns to promote healing and integration. Alongside her psychotherapy work, she has a background in yoga practice and incorporates body-based approaches into her therapeutic style. This includes breathwork, mindfulness, Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation techniques), and trauma-informed grounding strategies designed to support emotional regulation and mind–body connection.
