Anaesthetics
About
Dr Hanham studied medicine at the University of Southampton, qualifying in 2000. They undertook anaesthetic training in Wessex, Bristol and the South Coast. Dr Hanham is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and a Member of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland.
Dr Hanham has a special interest in regional anaesthesia and is one of only a small number of anaesthetists in the area who has obtained the European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia & Acute Pain Management (EDRA). They use these skills to perform awake surgery as well as enhance post-operative pain relief when appropriate, including the use of ultrasound-guided regional anaesthetic techniques.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
