Dr. Tarek Alkhouri is a Medical Oncologist with over a decade of experience in the treatment and diagnosis of solid tumors and other malignancies in patients of all ages. He currently sees private patients at Medcare Hospital, Dubai.
Dr. Alkhouri earned his primary medical qualification at Aleppo University, Syria, after which he undertook his basic and advanced training. He then earned his medical doctorate in medical oncology, in which he undertook research on treating advanced colon cancer with Oxaliplatin and Capecitabine. Since his Consultant appointment, Dr Alkhouri has worked at various renowned hospitals in Dubai, including Zulekha Hospital and the Advanced Oncology Care Centre.
