She has also trained and worked as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in the UK. She undertook advanced training in open and laparoscopic gynaecological surgery as well as labour ward management. During her career, she has spent time as the lead consultant for diabetes in pregnancy. She has also worked and trained at the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board hospitals and became certified in cosmetic Gynaecology from North America of Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and has become a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2015.
