Dr. Tala Raad is a CORU-registered Dietitian and PhD researcher with over 10 years of clinical and academic experience across Ireland, Lebanon, and the UK. She holds a PhD in Clinical Therapies from the University of Limerick, a Master's degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Southampton, and a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons) from the American University of Beirut.
Dr. Raad specialises in two core areas: fertility nutrition and chronic disease management, including Type 2 diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular health, and inflammatory conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis — the focus of her doctoral research. Her PhD investigated the anti-inflammatory effects of the Mediterranean diet in adults with RA, and she brings this deep, evidence-based understanding of diet and inflammation to every consultation.
As a Certified Fertility Dietitian, Dr. Raad works with women and couples who are trying to conceive naturally, supporting them through the nutritional foundations that matter most — hormonal balance, cycle health, egg quality, and preconception preparation. She also supports women navigating PCOS, endometriosis, and unexplained infertility, offering personalised, compassionate care at every stage of the journey. She understands that trying to conceive can be one of the most emotionally demanding experiences in a person's life, and she approaches every consultation with both clinical rigour and genuine warmth.
Previously working as a Community Dietitian within the HSE Chronic Disease Management programme in Dublin, Dr. Raad has extensive experience delivering evidence-based nutrition care to diverse patient populations in both individual and group settings.
All consultations are available via video call, making it easy to access expert dietetic care from anywhere in Ireland. Dr. Raad is a member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute and is registered with CORU (DI038424).
