About Dr Dr Sylvia Perl-Convalexius
Dr. med. Sylvia Perl-Convalexius absolvierte ihr Studium der Humanmedizin in Wien. Für ihre außerordentlichen Studienleistungen erhielt sie ein Sonderstipendium. Parallel zu ihrem Studium war sie als Sportlerin aktiv und erreichte den Titel des Staatsmeisters in Rock'n'Roll Akrobatik der Klasse A sowie Platz 4 der Weltrangliste. Nach ihrer Promotion folgten mehrjährige Gastarzttätigkeiten und wissenschaftliche Arbeiten bei Prof. Wolff und Prof. Hönigsmann am AKH Wien. Im Jahr 1992 war sie als Assistenzärztin bei Prof. Hönigsmann am AKH Wien tätig, wo sie wissenschaftlich arbeitete, Vorträge hielt und Publikationen im Bereich Photobiologie und kosmetische Medizin veröffentlichte. Zudem war sie als wissenschaftliche Beraterin für Vichy Österreich tätig. Im Jahr 1998 erlangte Dr. med. Perl-Convalexius ihr Diplom als Fachärztin für Haut- und Geschlechtskrankheiten. Sie ist außerdem Trägerin des Diploms für orthomolekulare Medizin. Dr. med. Perl-Convalexius engagiert sich als Vorstandsmitglied der Gesellschaft für Dermatologie und Altersforschung. Seit 2019 hat sie die Funktion der Fachgruppenobfrau für Dermatologie in Wien inne.
