In addition, she has spent two years at Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a consultant in advanced corneal surgeries, cataract, and external diseases.
Ms Madi has been active in teaching and research during her career, and has presented at both national and international meetings. She is a regional training program director in Ophthalmic Training and oversees allied healthcare professional training in the east of England.
