Shawn Fowler is a physiotherapist who studied Physiotherapy through Monash University after studying Sport and Exercise Science at Victoria Uni. During their studies, Shawn spent a semester at Western University in Ontario, Canada. They also spent time working with amputees at Peninsula Health Amputee Clinic, which led them to develop a keen interest in the area.
Shawn's main areas of interest include amputees, neurological rehabilitation and sports injuries.
Outside of work, Shawn enjoys cooking, basketball, muay thai training and snowboarding. Their biggest passion though is their family dog Luna who is a kelpie cross labrador. Shawn hopes to get a Tasmanian dog in the near future and is happy to chat about dogs with anyone who will listen.
