Dr Sasha Symonds is a Paediatric Emergency Staff Specialist and a Fellow of Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine. Their medical training began in Adult Emergency Medicine, during which time Dr Symonds worked in trauma units across Australia, Brazil, and Israel. Following this, Dr Symonds took up a position at the Children's Hospital, where they completed their Paediatric specialist letters. Dr Symonds has also worked in the New South Wales intensive care retrieval service.
Dr Symonds has also worked and trained in medical simulation, setting up workshops and courses to train doctors and nursing staff across the hospital. They are currently an instructor of Paediatric Advanced Life Support Courses delivered across Australia.
