Dr Sadia Akhter is a full time licensed GP dentist with over 3 years of experience. Dr Akhter is passionate about motivating and educating patients about their oral health.
Dr Akhter currently works at Onyx Medical Center as a GP Dentist where she performs both general and cosmetic dentistry procedures. She has considerable experience in the following areas:
Dental X-rays
Dental prophylaxis (scaling, polishing and root planing)
Oral surgery - including minor periodontal and endodontic surgeries
Crowns and Bridges
Teeth whitening
Cosmetic dentistry - including smile redesigning
Paediatric dentistry
Dr Akhter received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Gulf Medical University in 2015. She then completed a PG Cert Rest Dent in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry in 2020.
Dr Akhter uses every opportunity she has to widen her expertise, attending several workshops and courses in order to provide her patients with the best possible care. Some of the courses she attended are: endodontic workshops, ceramic and non-prep veneer workshops and diode laser workshops.
Dr Akhter is detail-oriented, hard-working and self-motivated, which allows her to provide her patients with excellent care and support the rest of the team at Onyx Medical Center.
