About Dr Ryan O'Neil
Dr. Ryan O’Neil is an experienced General Practitioner with a background in urgent care, private practice, and occupational medicine. He has been practising since graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Cardiff University in 2012. Since 2017, Dr. O’Neil has worked extensively as an out-of-hours and locum GP for the NHS, providing urgent care across Cardiff and the surrounding areas. He also runs a private practice with The IGP, where he offers tailored medical services, including occupational health assessments. Earlier in his career, he served as a GP at North Cardiff Medical Centre and undertook a range of hospital-based roles, including oncology and psychiatry, as part of his training pathway. He completed his specialist registrar training in general practice in 2017, following several years as a senior house officer across multiple specialties. Dr. O’Neil’s professional focus lies in delivering accessible, responsive, and comprehensive care, whether in fast-paced urgent care environments or ongoing patient management in private and occupational health settings.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
