About Mr Rohit Singhal
Mr Rohit Singhal is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon with a specialist focus on lower limb surgery, particularly the surgical and non-surgical management of hip and knee conditions. He is experienced in treating a broad range of orthopaedic and trauma presentations, with an emphasis on hip and knee arthroplasty and arthroscopic (keyhole) knee surgery for cartilage and meniscal disorders. He completed higher surgical training within the Mersey Deanery in North West England, gaining extensive experience in orthopaedic trauma and elective lower limb surgery. Following this, he undertook advanced fellowship training in high-volume lower limb arthroplasty at Wrightington Hospital and Northumbria Healthcare Trust, both recognised centres of excellence in joint replacement surgery. He holds an NHS consultant post at the Countess of Chester Hospital and also sees private patients at Nuffield Health, The Grosvenor Chester, and Euxton Hall Hospital (Ramsay Health Care), Chorley. His clinical approach is centred on evidence-based practice, clear communication, and patient-focused decision-making, aiming to tailor treatment plans to individual needs and goals. Alongside his clinical work, Mr Singhal is actively involved in academics and research. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and maintains a strong interest in research. He is also committed to teaching and training, delivering case-based learning sessions for University of Liverpool medical students and contributing as invited faculty for FRCS examination preparation courses.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
