Rebeca Robertson
Psychotherapy
About
With over 17 years of experience in the public sector and charitable organisations, Rebeca has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, ranging from children and young people to adults and the elderly. She also has experience supporting couples, including those where one partner has received a dementia diagnosis.
Her therapeutic style is collaborative and person-centred, placing emphasis on the whole individual-both verbal and non-verbal communication. Rebeca aims to identify links between past and present experiences, and recognises how long-standing coping mechanisms may become limiting when no longer appropriate. She adjusts her approach depending on the individual’s needs, offering both exploratory and directive therapy when required.
At Nightingale Hospital, Rebeca draws on her broad training and specialist knowledge to support patients in developing insight, building emotional resilience, and restoring psychological wellbeing.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
