During this time, she trained at Mater Hospital, Hornsby Hospital, Northern Beaches Hospital and the Royal North Shore Hospital. She later completed further melanoma fellowship training at the Melanoma Institute of Australia.
Dr Mousina has specialist expertise in benign breast diseases, imaging abnormalities, breast cancer diagnosis and management, breast conserving surgery, nipple and skin sparing mastectomy, cancer-related implant reconstruction and removal, gallbladder removal, skin lesion removal, inguinal and abdominal hernia repair, melanoma management, abdominal laparoscopy and emergency operations.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Mousina serves as a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney's Central Clinical School. She mentors general surgical registrars in breast and general surgery.
