About
Professor Lodge graduated from Medicine in 1983 from the University of Leeds. He then completed training in Yorkshire, before working at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. Following this, he was appointed Consultant in 1992 for the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. In 2004, he was awarded his position as Professor Surgery, as a result of his contributions in improvements in surgical techniques. Furthermore he is a member of the British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society.
He recently completed an intense training programme in Copenhagen, Denmark. Following this, he had introduced novel therapeutic techniques for surgery and also provided more rapid rehabilitation. Professor Lodge is a renowned Consultant with a great deal of surgical experience. He has also set up a hepatobiliary service where he accepts patients from across the UK and abroad.
