He was trained in Endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG), GERX, and POEM procedures. He was the only recipient of the prestigious American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) International Training grant in 2015. As a part of this grant, he pursued a fellowship in Cholangioscopy/EMR/interventional EUS at the center for interventional endoscopy (CIE), Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida in 2016.
In UAE, he worked with Thumbay Hospital, Dubai for 4 yrs. He was head of the department at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah from 2020 to 2023. He was instrumental in starting/developing the gastroenterology department and performed more than 3500 endoscopies.
