Dr Piksi Singh is a certified Gynaecological Oncologist. Dr Singh focuses on the management of all known and suspected cancers of the female genital tract. Their areas of expertise also include colposcopy and pre-invasive conditions of the cervix, vagina and vulva.
Dr Singh also has a keen interest in managing women with hereditary familial gynaecological cancers, gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) and vulval reconstructive surgeries. Dr Singh is trained to perform complex minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
Originally from India, Dr Singh obtained their postgraduate Obstetric and Gynaecological qualifications in 1994. They worked as a consultant in leading teaching institutions in New Delhi before moving to Australia in 2003. Dr Singh underwent further sub-specialty training in the field of Gynaecological Oncology in Adelaide, Newcastle and Brisbane, attaining their CGO in 2008.
Dr Singh has also acquired additional surgical training in the United States. Dr Singh is committed to clinical and translational research and has authored multiple papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
